Nelson Cash is seeking a Digital Strategist to support the planning, development, and implementation of digital and social content. They will utilize consumer insights, digital trends and well-vetted research to implement solutions that help solve client business needs. In collaboration with the Creative Director(s) they’ll sharpen ideas and insights that will help inform and drive digital, brand, product and technology teams. From day-to-day guidance to proactive strategic planning, the Digital Strategist serves an integral role in helping craft internal and client strategy in the digital space. This position is for someone who is immersed in technology and is fascinated with the dynamics of change in shifting markets, landscapes, expectations or behavior.


  • Work with little supervision to pull out insights from research and information gathering and to synthesize findings into clear and compelling key takeaways and recommendations
  • Brainstorm and present on how to use technology to most efficiently execute on a creative idea on a particular digital/social platform
  • Develop a deep understanding of how we conduct our research and the unique value it provides in building a digital strategy
  • Uncover digital insights and provide thought leadership in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Create strategic elements as part of a contribution to a holistic strategy and contribute to client presentations and the overall studio strategic vision
  • Attend and participate in client presentations
  • Keep a pulse on the latest trends in digital and social, including being first to know about platform updates


  • 2+ years’ experience working in an agency environment is preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Has the ability to synthesize insights and provide recommendations for clients based on their business objectives
  • Ability to clearly and convincingly articulate branding, marketing and creative strategies to clients in a presentation environment
  • Digital marketing experience: development of personas, content strategy, user experience, analytics, social and mobile
  • Passion for tinkering and technology
