Naming
Starting with a blank slate we chose to give an approachable and friendly feel by personifying the app with a human name. Like the famous minds of Isaac Newton and Isaac Asimov, Isaac is the perfect name for a study companion.
Definition
To begin building an identity system we first identified key attributes of the app and what it does. Creating ways to symbolize these attributes gave us visual DNA to work with.
Branding
The identity system we created has separate pieces that are meaningful to Isaac’s attributes. As a whole it has a bold and minimal aesthetic.
Application Style
We designed a series of applications to visualize how the Isaac brand looks and feels in context.
In Development
We’re currently hard at work with the Tilde team in the design and implementation phase of the project. We’re excited to be launching a full featured web app and companion iPhone app in the near future.
